What a baseball team usually orders
For a youth or high school roster of 12 to 15 players, a full order tends to look like this:

Most teams start with one hoodie and one practice shirt per player, polos for two or three coaches, and leave family shirts as a separate, optional order.
Custom baseball hoodies for the cold early season
The first month of baseball is cold. A 9 a.m. scrimmage in March, a night game in April when the sun drops behind the outfield, a doubleheader with two hours between first pitches. Players need something warm in the dugout that they can pull off fast when it is their turn to hit. That is the team hoodie.

Hoodie layouts that work on a baseball team:
- Team name across the chest in heavy block letters, number large on the back.
- Team logo on the chest, name down one sleeve (Adult Hoodie only, since it prints on the sleeves).
- Small chest mark, big back design: the team name arched over crossed bats, the season year below.

Practice shirts that get worn all season
Practice shirts are the workhorses. The Adult Tee at $14.38 is 100% cotton and prints on the front, back and both sleeves; at 12 or more it drops to $10.90, and at 24 or more to $10.74. The Youth Tee at $19.99 is a DryBlend shirt for younger players. For the pitchers who want their throwing arm covered between innings, the Adult Long Sleeve at $22.99 prints front and back and runs smaller than usual, so size up.
When the weather turns in June, the performance tee is light, quick-dry polyester, in adult and youth sizes in matching colors, and better for July doubleheaders than cotton.
Design it to read from behind the fence
Almost nobody sees a baseball shirt from closer than sixty feet. It gets read through chain link, from the top row of aluminum bleachers, past a dugout roof. Put the idea on the chest and make it heavy: block letters, a year, a nickname the twelve of them settled on at the first practice. Thin script disappears at that distance.
Wording ideas that work on practice shirts: "Two Outs, Still Running," "Dirt Is Earned," "Hit It Where They Ain't," "One Pitch at a Time," or the team name with "Est." and the founding year. A simple home plate outline with the team initial inside reads at any distance.
Navy, Red, Royal, Black and Forest Green hide infield dirt and sunflower seed shells; White and Sport Gray show everything, which some teams want and some regret by May. Names and numbers on the back
Names and numbers go on the back if you want them, the name straight or arched over the number, and they are free on every shirt and hoodie. Choose one of four athletic lettering styles, an ink color and an optional outline. Paste the roster (up to 80 players per shirt color) and each player's shirt prints with their own name and number, exactly as typed (free names and numbers). The first surface is included in the price; each extra one is $8.99 to $10.99 depending on the product, so with the chest printed, a back carrying only names and numbers is that one extra surface.
Fan and family shirts
Baseball families spend a lot of hours on a bleacher. A matching family shirt is often the team design on the Adult Tee, Youth Tee or Women's Tee, with a line for the stands: "Dugout Family," "Here for the Seeds," or "My Heart Is on That Field" with the player's number on the back. Grandparents tend to want a hoodie for the early games. Families who want a shirt with their own player's name and number can order one separately through youth sports team shirts, and the name and number are free there too.

Coaches
The Adult Polo at $25.63 is 100% ring-spun cotton pique with a three-button placket, printed (not stitched) on the left chest, in Navy, Red, Royal, Black, White or Athletic Heather. It is trimmer through the shoulders, so size up if between. Custom polos covers the fit.
Sizes and how many to order
A twelve-player roster runs from a youth medium to an adult XL, plus coaches. Every size costs the same per item, so a 2XL does not change the arithmetic, and youth and adult garments ship together in a single order. Youth and adult are not one continuous scale, so size by fit, not age; youth XL vs adult small helps with the in-between kids. Hoodies worn over a practice shirt and under a jacket usually fit best in the player's normal size.
Collect sizes in writing before you buy, because a custom print cannot come back when someone guesses. A names link lets each family type the player's name, number and size, with no account and nothing paid on the link; one button adds the answers to the order (collect shirt sizes). A wrong or defective print gets reprinted or refunded with a photo within 30 days of delivery; a size ordered wrong is not returnable. There is no minimum, so a family joining in May can buy one hoodie and that is a real order.
