Ordering Against a Deadline
How to count backward from an event date, what our production window really means, and the honest limits of what we can promise.
Start with the part most sites bury: we do not offer rush production, expedited printing, or a guaranteed delivery date. There is no box to tick that makes an order arrive by Friday. Anyone planning around a fixed date should read the rest of this page before ordering, not after.
What "2 to 5 business days" actually covers
That window is production only — the time to print and pack. Shipping happens after it, and takes its own several days. It is also typical, not promised: a busy stretch runs longer.
So the honest arithmetic for an event is:
production (2–5 business days) + shipping (several more) + a real buffer
If your event is two weeks out, you are comfortable. If it is five days out, plan for the shirts to arrive after it, and be pleasantly surprised if they do not.
Count backward, and count business days
The most common miss is counting calendar days. A Thursday order does not get five business days of production before the following Tuesday — the weekend does not count. Neither do holidays, which is exactly when people order event shirts.
Ship somewhere that will be open
Schools close for breaks. Offices close on weekends. A box that arrives at a locked building sits there. For anything ordered near a break, ship to a home address instead — this is the single most avoidable delay we see.
Design early, order when the roster firms up
Designing is free and nothing is charged until checkout, so there is no reason to wait. Build and approve the design as soon as you have the idea, then check out the moment sizes are confirmed. That way the only clock running is production, not your group chat.

The last week before a seasonal date is the worst time
Everyone orders holiday shirts in December and first-day shirts in late August. Ordering in the same window as everyone else is when typical turnarounds stretch. A month early costs nothing extra.
If the date is genuinely tight
Tell us before you order and we will say honestly whether it is realistic. We would rather lose the sale than have you spend money on shirts that miss the thing they were made for. Custom prints are not returnable for a change of mind, so a shirt that arrives late is a shirt you own.
