Ship One Order to Several Addresses
Pay once and send one custom order to up to 10 addresses: offices, schools or homes. Each gets its own parcel and tracking, priced in your cart.
You can ship custom shirts to multiple addresses without placing separate orders: one order goes to up to 10 addresses, and you pay once. In your cart, choose Shipping to more than one address? under the checkout button, add each further address, and type how many of each size go there. The address you give at checkout gets the rest. Each address becomes its own parcel, with its own tracking.
Who sends one order to several places?
Anyone buying for a group that is not all in one place. One order can carry shirts, hoodies, mugs or anything else in the catalog, and each further address gets only what you send it.
- Companies: staff and event shirts for two or three offices, or a shirt sent to each remote employee at home, up to 10 addresses an order. The same goes for small business uniforms split between locations.
- PTAs, PTOs and school offices: spirit wear for each campus, or gifts for the staff at each school.
- Leagues and clubs: each team's shirts sent to its own school, field or coach.
- Churches and nonprofits: shirts for each campus, chapter or volunteer team.
- Family reunions: each branch's shirts sent home before the trip.
- Gifts: a mug or tumbler for each office on the list. Mugs with a name on each are one names list, so that set travels together to one address.
How do I ship one order to multiple addresses?
Add each further address in your cart and say what goes there; the address you give at checkout gets the rest. Five steps, all in your cart:
Build the whole order
Design it with Remi in the chat, then put everything in one cart: every item, color and size, for every address.
Open the address panel
Under the checkout button, choose Shipping to more than one address?, then Add an address.
Fill in the address
Name, street address, city, state and ZIP. A school or company, an apartment, suite or room, and a phone number are optional. The name is who the parcel is for, and it goes on the label.
Say what goes there
Under What goes here, type how many of each size go to this address. An item with a names list has one tick box instead: all of it goes there, or none of it.
Check out once
Your cart's shipping row now reads Shipping to 3 addresses, for example, with its charge, and the dates under the checkout button cover every parcel. At checkout, give the remaining address: it gets everything you did not send elsewhere.
What does each extra address cost?
Each further address adds what its separate parcel costs to post over sending the whole order as one parcel, plus the card processing fee on that amount, rounded up to the next price ending in .99. The first address ships free, as every order does. Your cart shows the charge on its shipping row before you pay, and checkout shows it as one shipping line. The shipping policy works through an example.
Nothing else about the price changes. The order is priced as a whole, so bulk prices count every piece of an item on it, whichever address the piece goes to. Three Adult T-Shirts (Gildan 5000) for each of four offices make 12 on one order, so each one is $10.90 with one printed surface, the price for 12 or more of the same item.
Does a quote include the extra addresses?
Yes. A quote you download from your cart while the addresses are set prices the order the way checkout will: a Shipping to 3 addresses row with the extra postage, the total before sales tax, and a delivery estimate for the parcels. The cart checks the addresses first, so fix anything it flags under the address panel before you download. Faster shipping is chosen at checkout and is not on the quote.
An invoice ships to one address. While further addresses are on the order, the cart shows Paying by invoice? Invoices ship to one address. where the invoice link was. To pay by invoice, take the other addresses off; otherwise pay at checkout, where your purchase order number has its own field. See quotes and purchase orders.
How do the parcels, tracking and dates work?
Each address is its own parcel and its own print order, so the parcels can come from different print partners and arrive on different days. The line under the checkout button counts the parcels, and its arrival dates run to the slowest one. They are estimates for the 48 contiguous states, so leave a buffer after them; how long custom shirts take shows how to count back from a date.
Splitting can change how a parcel ships. One large garment parcel can ship free by the faster service from our bulk print partner, where smaller parcels of the same order go by economy, so check the dates in your cart after you split.
Parcels made by different partners can differ slightly in shade, and a full-width design can print a little smaller at one partner than at another. To keep a set identical, send it to one address, where everything is printed in the same place (one parcel per address).
You get a shipping email for each parcel as it leaves the printer, with its tracking number and where it is going. It lists what is in that parcel and no prices, so you can forward it to whoever is at that address. Your order's page lists every parcel, where it is going, how far it has got and its tracking.
Does faster shipping cover every parcel?
Every parcel going to the 48 contiguous states, yes. Where checkout offers faster shipping, choosing it sends each of those parcels the faster way, for one price shown in your cart before you pay. A parcel going to Alaska, Hawaii, a US territory or a military address ships the free way instead, and its part of the faster shipping is refunded by itself, with an email to say so. A parcel that already ships the faster way for free, such as one with a names list, has nothing to upgrade. Faster shipping shortens the transit, not the printing.
Can I cancel or change the order?
Yes, while your order's page offers Cancel order: one press stops every parcel and refunds your payment once, and the button names the amount before you confirm. The window is 12 hours from payment, 10 minutes shorter on an order to several addresses, and the page shows the exact time it closes. If any parcel can no longer be stopped, the page stops nothing and asks you to email us instead.
To change an address, email service@aipromodesign.com with your order number before production starts. Once a parcel is in production, its address is locked in with the print partner.
What are the limits?
Ten addresses, all in the US, with every names list kept whole:
- 10 addresses per order: the one at checkout and up to 9 in your cart. For more, make the rest a second order. Each order is priced on its own, so bulk prices count each order separately.
- US addresses only. A further address can be in any state, DC or a US territory. A military APO, FPO or DPO address can only be the one you give at checkout.
- A names list ships whole to one address, whether you typed the names or collected them by link, so a team's named shirts arrive together. An item counted by size can be split by size, including sizes from a sizes link.
- The checkout address keeps at least one piece. If nothing is coming to you, give one of the other destinations at checkout instead.
- An invoice covers one address. A quote covers every address you set; see above.
- Dates assume the 48 contiguous states. Parcels to Alaska, Hawaii and the territories take longer than the dates in your cart; the shipping policy says how much longer.
One order, a storefront or separate orders?
Use one order to several addresses when you pay for everyone, and a group storefront when each person should pick a design, an item and a size and pay for their own. One order keeps it to one checkout and counts every piece toward bulk prices.
| One order, several addresses | Group storefront | Separate orders | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who pays | You, once | Each person, for their own | You, once per order |
| Where it goes | Up to 10 addresses you enter | Each order to the person who placed it | One address per order |
| Shipping | Free to the first address; the others add their extra postage and the card fee | Free to every buyer | Free on each order |
| Prices | Bulk prices across the whole order | Listed prices | Bulk prices within each order |
Common questions
Can every employee get a parcel at home?
Yes, up to 10 homes on one order: the address you give at checkout and 9 more in your cart, each with its own parcel and tracking. For a larger staff, use more than one order, or choose Rather have a person place this order? in your cart. A sizes link asks for a name, size and email, not a home address, so you type each address yourself.
Can each team's named shirts ship separately?
Yes, when each team's shirts have their own design or color. Each is then its own item in your cart, with its own names list, and each list can go to a different address. One names list always ships whole to one address, so a team's named shirts arrive together. Shirts without names can be split by size.
Can some parcels go faster than others?
No. Faster shipping is one choice for the whole order: it sends every parcel the faster way, for one price. Two cases sort themselves out. A parcel going outside the 48 contiguous states ships the free way and gets its part back, and a parcel that already ships the faster way for free has nothing to upgrade.
Can a parcel go to a military APO address?
Only as the address you give at checkout. The further addresses in your cart take any state, DC or US territory, but not the military states AA, AE and AP. Military parcels go by USPS and take longer than the dates in your cart; the shipping policy says how long.
Who gets the tracking for each parcel?
You do, as the buyer. Each parcel has its own shipping email, sent as it leaves the printer, with its tracking number and where it is going. It lists what is in the parcel and no prices, so you can forward it to whoever is at that address. Your order's page shows every parcel's tracking too.
Can I cancel one parcel and keep the rest?
Not from the order page: Cancel order stops every parcel or none, and refunds your payment once. To change part of an order, email service@aipromodesign.com with your order number before it goes to print, and we will tell you what can still be changed.
